The Keystage by KORG is the ultimate MIDI keyboard for live and studio applications.
Its 49-key semi-weighted keyboard offers velocity, channel and polyphonic aftertouch, as well as MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression) compatibility.
Due to the support of the MIDI 2.0 standard, it is also possible for the Keystage to communicate bi-directionally with software and hardware instruments.
In this way, for example, when using MIDI 2.0-compatible instruments, their most important parameters are automatically mapped to the eight knobs of the Keystage.
In addition, the names of these parameters as well as their values are shown on the OLED displays below the respective knobs and adjusted in real time.
Since the Keystage is downward compatible, it can also be used to control classic MIDI devices that do not yet support the MIDI 2.0 standard.
The Keystage is compatible with most common DAWs and also offers particularly deep integration with KORG Gadget and Ableton Live.
Thanks to the internal USB audio interface, it can also be easily connected to a computer and sound system without additional peripherals, which is invaluable especially for live use.
Also on board are a sophisticated arpeggiator and an inspiring chord mode, with the help of which previously defined chords can be called up via individual keys.
The slim and lightweight housing allows for easy transport, but at the same time has the necessary stability for the often punishing everyday life on stage.
Included is a handy accessory tray that can be mounted at two different angles and offers enough space for smart devices or a tablet.
Taking full advantage of NKS integration, Keystage includes the Komplete Select software bundle from Native Instruments.
Komplete Select provides access to professional sound and includes a selection of synthesizers, sampled session instruments and high-quality effects - everything you need to produce. Available in three curated editions: Beats, Band and Electronic - each specifically designed to support specific genres and workflows.
The included software bundle also includes the KORG Gadget Producer Bundle, wavestate native LE and Ableton Live 11 Lite.
